New York Summer Internship Housing, Meals, Transportation, & 24/7 Onsite Staff
Our summer housing facilities in New York City offer the convenience and comfort necessary for an easy transition into living in the big city. Participants will never feel alone in the big city, as they will reside among hundreds of other participants who together will take advantage of all that our program and city have to offer. Please read the sections below for more information on the summer internship housing for each New York City Program.

New York Summer Internship Program: Union Square (May 23, 2010 - July 17, 2010) will be housed at New York University's Palladium Residence, which is one of the most sought-after facilities by NYU students and summer residents. Located near Union Square, Palladium is in a prime location with subway entries, grocery stores, popular eateries, and student hangout spots just down the block. Rooms are apartment-style quads with two bedrooms (doubles in each room), a common area, bathroom and kitchen. Each room offers free internet access. One of the most favored Palladium amenities is its state-of-the-art fitness and athletic facilities to which all program participants will have free access.
Meals
Union Square Program will offer 7 meals plus $30 dining dollars a week.
- Dining Dollars are accepted as cash in all NYU dining locations. They work on the same principle as debit cards. You can use your Dining Dollars to purchase beverages, snacks or full meals from dining locations and the total amount is subtracted from your balance. Unused Dining Dollars carry over week to week.
- You may use your Meal Plan and/or Dining Dollars at the following dining facilities:
Dunkin' Donuts @ University Hall, Palladium Dining Hall, Weinstein Hall Dining Room, and Starbucks Coffee@ The Square. More information about each dining facility, including location and hours of operation will be provided at the start of your summer.
Transportation
Our New York participants will receive a Metro Card to get to and from work each day, as well as transportation throughout the 8 weeks of the program for activities sponsored by Dream Careers.
*Not included in the program is: Transportation to and from the program.
24/7 Onsite Staff Assistance
On-site staff is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience to enable both your professional and personal growth. Staff members will serve as your program guides, leading you to program events as you become accustomed to the city. They will be available at all times to ensure your summer in the city is as safe as possible.
